Civil Engineering - a milestone connecting society to the technology and backbone for the development of any countries. Kantipur City College is affiliated to Purbanchal University and holds the biggest number of students of civil engineering in PU, located at heart of the Kathmandu, Putalisadak. This outcome is because of our 14 years devotion on pioneer education. We also offer an extensive course for junior civil engineer/civil overseer for their further study of engineering which is also unique in town. BE Civil is a four-year academic program consisting of eight semesters. This program incorporates intensive laboratory assignments aimed at giving students enough exposure and experience to the state-of-the-art facilities and tools. Objectives
The course aim to

Development is a continuous process. A developing nation like Nepal definitely requires more civil engineers to address the national needs of development infrastructures. Population growth creates more needs that demand more physical infrastructures. More civil engineers are required to design and construct safe and higher capacity transportation, water supply, and pollution control systems, and large buildings and housing complexes. They also will be needed to repair or replace existing roads, and other physical structures. Civil engineers are employed by firms providing architectural, engineering, and related services, primarily developing designs for new construction projects.
