Eighth Issue of Management Scholars Magazine Inaugurated by Vice Chancellor

Kantipur City College, affiliated with Purbanchal University in Kathmandu, organized an inauguration ceremony for the 8th issue of the Management Scholars Magazine. The magazine was inaugurated by Chief Guest and Vice Chancellor of Purbanchal University, Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala, along with Communication & Management expert Prof. Rama Krishna Regmee, Managing Director of Kantipur City College, Dr. Pralhad Karki, and Principal of Kantipur City College, Mr. Raju Kattel, jointly at the Kantipur City College (KCC) Hall.

The Management Scholars Magazine is published by every batch during the final semester of the BBA program to enhance students’ management and writing skills, as mentioned by BBA Coordinator Puja Pokharel.

Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala, the Vice Chancellor of Purbanchal University and the chief guest of the ceremony, expressed that the magazine has instilled new hope in students who have taken up the responsibility of publishing it. Meanwhile, Prof. Rama Krishna Regmee, a Communication & Management expert, suggested that the next volume of the magazine should provide advisory content to the National Planning Commission.

Dr. Pralhad Karki, Managing Director of Kantipur City College, stated in the remarks section of the ceremony that the Management Faculty of the college has produced skilled professionals who are utilizing their talents. German Intern Atefeh Kasiri Departs Kantipur City College after Productive 2-Months Internship

Kathmandu, Nepal: Kantipur City College (KCC), a local committee of IAESTE Nepal, bid adieu to Atefeh Kasiri, an intern from Germany, as she successfully completed her enriching 2-month internship program.

Atefeh Kasiri, a student from Germany, expressed her gratitude and shared her memorable experiences during her stay in Nepal at the farewell program held by Kantipur City College. She expressed her deep appreciation for the rich culture and warm hospitality of Nepal, stating that she thoroughly enjoyed immersing herself in the local culture and environment.

During her internship at Kantipur City College, Atefeh Kasiri had the opportunity to learn various technical skills and gain valuable practical experience. She acknowledged the support and mentorship provided by KCC staff and faculty, mentioning that the people at KCC were exceptionally kind and friendly, making her feel welcome and at home throughout her stay.

Putalisadak – Kantipur City College (KCC) has recently entered into a groundbreaking Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with IMAC ENGINEERING Co., Ltd., a renowned Japanese company. This
collaboration opens up a world of opportunities for KCC students seeking vocational education and
training (VET) and professional growth in Japan.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Raju Kattel, the esteemed Principal of Kantipur City College, along with Dr.
Deepak Bikram Thapa Chhetri, the Director of Engineering, representing KCC. On behalf of IMAC
ENGINEERING Co., Ltd., Director Masaaki Osaski and President Yoshihito Yamaguchi were present for
the signing ceremony.

This strategic partnership aims to provide KCC students with practical career development opportunities

minimum of three years of on-the-job training (OJT) in Japan. ISP will guide and inform applicants about
the career-building potential of this valuable experience.
IMAC SOLUTION PARTNER: ISP understands that VET is an investment in the applicants’ development.
They will guide and motivate students to make dedicated efforts to meet the expectations associated
with this investment.
ISP will serve as the primary point of contact for the receiving company during the OJT period, ensuring
effective management of the applicants’ status. They will work closely with IMAC ENGINEERING Co., Ltd.
to provide guidance and support, enabling a smooth transition into employment at the receiving

IMAC ENGINEERING Co., Ltd. holds crucial responsibilities in the partnership, including introducing
applicants to suitable Japanese companies and facilitating the seamless implementation of the VET
project. Their aim is to secure full-time employment opportunities for participating students. IMAC will
also cooperate with ISP to emphasize the significance of the three-year OJT and assist students in
improving their Japanese language skills.
Furthermore, IMAC ENGINEERING Co., Ltd. has committed to sharing important information regarding
work content, treatment, and remuneration with ISP even after the completion of OJT and employment.
This collaboration ensures continued support and cooperation between the entities involved.

The Department of Continuing Education (DCE) Conducted a One Day Workshop on HTML, CSS and jQuery for PGDCA 1 st semester students.

The Department of Continuing Education (DCE) at Kantipur City College recently organized a highly impactful workshop on HTML, CSS, and jQuery for the first-semester students of the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) program. The workshop aimed to equip students with essential web development skills, enabling them to create dynamic and visually appealing web pages.
This article highlights the key aspects and outcomes of this transformative workshop, which provided a strong foundation for the students’ future endeavor.

Interactive Learning with HTML:
The workshop commenced with a comprehensive introduction to HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), the fundamental building block of web pages. The students were immersed in interactive sessions, where they learned the syntax, structure, and semantic elements of HTML. Through practical exercises, they acquired hands-on experience in creating web pages, incorporating headings, paragraphs, lists, images, and hyperlinks. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Kantiipur City College and Jooneli Inc. Pvt. Ltd.  The MoU has been made with an agreement on internships and other holistic cooperation programs between the two parties.

The principal of Kantipur City College, Mr. Raju Kattel, and the director of Jooneli Inc., Mr. Aapar Thebe signed the agreement on Thursday, June 15, 2023. This is an important step for the students’ career enhancement and empowerment in a real-time work culture. This would help them get the required exposure to develop their resilience and professional skills. Also, this could help us further foster industry-academia cooperation and contribute to an important role in the holistic development of the country.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Mr. Raju Kattel, Principal of KCC, and Mr. Arun Thapa, Technology Manager of Spiralogics International, both institutions have committed to mutual cooperation and resource sharing.

As part of this agreement, KCC will provide our students with access to state-of-the-art classroom laboratories and facilitate their participation in IT-related events organized by Spiralogics. Moreover, we are proud to offer a 20% scholarship on tuition fees for employees of Spiralogics, showcasing our commitment to supporting their professional growth.

In return, Spiralogics International will offer valuable career counseling services to KCC students, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future. Anup Shrestha and Aayesha Tamang Crowned KCC Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2080

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Anup Shrestha from Computer Engineering and Ms. Aayesha Tamang from BBA for their outstanding achievement as KCC Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2080. The esteemed title was bestowed upon them during the Welcome Program, organized by Kantipur City College on the 14th of Jestha, 2080, to warmly welcome the new batch of 2022.

In a competitive contest, Mr. Anup Shrestha emerged as the victor, overshadowing his talented rivals. The title of 1st Runner Up was awarded to Mr. Arjun Kumar Shahi(Civil Engineering), while Mr. Bishal Shreemali(Computer Engineering) secured the position of 2nd Runner Up.

On the other hand, Ms. Aayesha Tamang claimed the title, defeating Ms. Shradha Rai(BBA) as the 1st Runner Up and Ms. Evika Shrestha(Civil Engineering) as the 2nd Runner Up.
