This program is a one-year course (two-semesters) with 34 credits for anyone with a bachelor’s
degree. Affiliated to Purbanchal University, KCC is one of the most reputed institutions that
offers this course. The program itself is structured in a way that helps you to establish a solid
theoretical base and practical knowledge of computer application.

In addition, this Post Graduate (PG) diploma in computer application essentially covers IT
fundamentals, computer design, programming, data communication, web technology, system

PGDCA at KCC: Eligibility Criteria 

  • Education: To be eligible for the PGDCA course at KCC, you need to hold a bachelor’s
    degree in any field from a recognized college/institute/university, with minimum
    aggregate marks of 45%.
  • Citizenship: You need to be a citizen of Nepal to be eligible for the course (foreign
    nationals can also apply easily). For foreign candidates, relevant documents are to be
    produced during admission.

Upon satisfying the minimum eligibility requirements, you are eligible to move further with the
admission process.

PGDCA at KCC: Step-by-step Admission Process

For the eligible candidates, who seek admission to the PGDCA course at KCC, below are the
steps to be followed. We have broken down the procedure into small steps to provide you with
better clarity.

Step 1: Entrance Exam 
The first step towards admission is applying online entrance form (entrance.puexam.edu.np) for
the entrance exam conducted by Purbanchal University and qualifying it with the requisite
criteria. The date, time and test centre are communicated to the candidates earlier. Once you
clear this stage, you can move on to the next one.

Step 2: Personal Interview at KCC
Once you clear the qualifying examination, you need to turn up for the personal interview round
at KCC. There, you will be gauged on your skills and understanding. Clearing this round
confirms your admission to the college.

Step 3: In-campus Admission 
After you clear the interview round, your admission to the college is confirmed. You need to
visit the campus on the scheduled date, communicate your purpose of visiting the campus to the
concerned security guards at the gate and they will assist you further to track the admission
department. After which you’ll meet the admission officer, and the person will take it forward
from there to ensure the admission process.
