On December 21, 2024, the Department of Continuing Education (DCE) at Kantipur City College (KCC) organized a one-day workshop on WordPress for BCA and BIT 7th semester students. The workshop aimed to provide practical knowledge about building and managing websites using WordPress, one of the world’s most popular content management systems. Facilitated by experienced professionals, the sessions covered a range of topics, including an introduction to the WordPress ecosystem, website creation, theme customization, and plugin integration. Students also participated in hands-on activities, building basic websites and experimenting with tools like Yoast SEO and Woo Commerce. The interactive environment encouraged active learning and allowed participants to gain valuable insights into career opportunities in web development. Students appreciated the workshop for its practical relevance and clarity, with many expressing interest in advanced sessions in the future.
